With the demands of today’s world, it is easy to see why there is a significant increase in reports of stress. Although stress can be normal and even helpful in some situations, such as when attempting to meet a deadline, longer-term stress can be detrimental to our health and other areas of our lives. It is an increasing cause of workplace and education absenteeism.
With reports suggesting that around 90% of the adult UK population have experienced high or extremely high levels of stress in the last year (Mental Health UK, 2024) it has became extremely important to develop strategies to manage stress effectively.
Our stress management workshops aim to equip participants with tools and strategies to decrease stress, better manage the causes of stress and to aid the development of a better work-life balance.
